Following in the most famous DM's footsteps (or rather pawsteps!) is not the easiest thing to do. Taking Towser's place at Glenturret is Amber, who seems quite relaxed about having such an illustrious predecessor. Like Towser, Amber is doing her share of PR-work for the distillery besides mousing (for instance, she appears on the Glenturret tea towel). About 12 y.o. now, she spends a lot of her time snoozing in or near the distillery shop or in the Smugglers restaurant. But she certainly wants to be noticed and gets very vocal if someone does not acknowledge her presence!

Glenturret has a second cat. Nectar is Amber's daughter and in line for the job as Glenturret's main mouser. Her favourite haunt is the still house: warm, quiet and out of sight. Actually, Nectar is so shy that the people at Glenturret haven't been able to capture her on film yet .....
